I love when all of the seasonal stops begin to open. That just validates the warm weather and shows that summer is right around the corner. There aren't many things better than a New England summer. I've seen so many posts of ice cream, lobster rolls, the beach, flowers, etc. and it gets me so excited for what's to come.

I wrote a little bit about some of the great businesses that are starting to open for the season including the Southington Drive-In and an ice cream favorite - Rich Farms. As I continue to write about these openings, I'm more and more excited for summer to approach. I also just wrote about the Ridgefield roadside stand that is a perfect summertime addition as well.

What's next for Connecticut? One of the main things that absolutely screams summer. There are some places around Connecticut that are known for their lobster rolls, and the most famous ones in the state are now available for grabs for the season.

Connecticut's Favorite Lobster Roll Opens for the Season

Lobster Landing announced that they are officially open starting today, April 24. If you're craving a delicious lobster roll to pair with this stretch of gorgeous weather we are having, you're in luck. Many people you talk to around the state will automatically guide you to here when talking about the best lobster roll.

Lobster Landing has been in the same spot for over 30 years serving some everyday favorites including their famous lobster rolls (of course), hot dogs, sausage and peppers sub, and soups.

If you've never been, this year is the absolute perfect time to visit. They are located at 152 Commerce Street in Clinton and are open Wednesday through Sunday 11 AM - 6 PM.

Happy spring and (soon to be) summer! I'm so excited for everyone in New England to get their lobster roll fix.
