New England Treasure Hunt Narrows Radius, Is It in Connecticut?
Are you on the hunt for the gold that is currently hidden somewhere in New England? Thousands of people in the northeast are already searching for the treasure that was placed somewhere in the woods by Project Skydrop.
What is Project Skydrop?
Project Skydrop is an exciting real-world treasure hunt. A valuable item, crafted from 10 troy ounces of 24K pure gold, is hidden within an initial circle with a diameter of 500 miles. Over three weeks, this circle gradually shrinks each day. By the end of the hunt, it will reduce to just one foot, revealing the exact location of the treasure. Participants receive daily clues in the form of aerial photographs taken from increasingly higher altitudes. Half of each entry fee contributes to a growing cash bounty that increases as more people join. The first person to find the treasure and claim it wins the hunt and the cash prize.
How Much Does the Winner Get?
According to Project Skydrop, "The winner gets to keep the treasure itself, which contains 10 troy ounces of 99.99% pure gold, currently valued at over $25,000. The winner also receives the prize bounty, which increases by $10 from each entry fee over the course of the hunt. The more people that join, the bigger that bounty payment will be."
When does the Treasure Hunt End?
Project Skydrop runs for 21 days, starting Thursday, September 19, 2024, and ending on Thursday, October 10, 2024
Who Can Join?
Project Skydrop says the hunt is open to anyone who is legally allowed to enter a contest of skill. If you are under 18, you must have your parent's permission to participate. Go here to join Project Skydrop for $20.
Is the Treasure Buried in the Ground?
