New Milford Will Host ‘Gilmore Girls’ Themed Weekend in 2025

It's so cool when a town close to you transforms into a place that's from a movie / TV show / book. Any fictional place that you've either drawn out in your head or seen on a TV screen is really cool to be able to experience in person.

Since New Milford was one of the towns that Stars Hallow in Gilmore Girls was based off of, they will be bringing that to life in 2025. Connecticut has put on a few different Gilmore Girls events since the state was a lot of the inspiration, so to see another one come to life in the next year is exciting.

The first thing to catch my eye was an Instagram post from @/sophiethevagabond who created a post describing what the event would be like. Here is the post for you to see:

After seeing that, I did some searching. This seems like such a fun idea and I love that its taking place right in New Milford. The event will be taking place during the weekend of April 11-13, 2025. Tickets for the event are not on sale yet, but will be on December 22. You can find tickets at the event website.

What's cool is that there are multiple different tiers of tickets. You can pretty much get whatever you're looking to experience from the weekend. There are single day passes, entire weekend passes, passes that include meet & greets with the stars attending and more. The tickets range from $65 to $495.

The event is called "A Weekend in the Life" and according to the instagram post, will have so many things to do including celebrity guests, karaoke and pajama parties, hayrides, movies on the green, town meetings, coffee flights and so much more.

If you are a Gilmore Girls fan, this is right up your alley. I'm so interested to see what New Milford is going to look like once they set up. I can't wait to see!
